2021 NFL Draft: The SEC is back in this 2-round mock draft
After trading down earlier and getting another pass rusher (Kwity Paye) to go along with guys like Josh Allen and K’Lavon Chaisson, the Jacksonville Jaguars get a playmaker on the offensive side of the football who could be a hidden gem in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Travis Etienne doesn’t get a ton of hype because he’s been so good for so long now.
He’s already rushed for 57 career touchdowns for Clemson and has proven himself to be a tremendous receiver as well.
Etienne can blow by defenders or bully his way through contact, and has an astounding career average of 7.7 yards per carry despite nearly 550 career carries.
The Jaguars moved on from Leonard Fournette and even if taking another first-round running back is unpopular, if the Jaguars are going to build around Gardner Minshew (and they could), getting a guy like Etienne would be absolutely huge.
