The Jacksonville Jaguars took a tough loss to the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night. They were projected to be one of the worst teams in the league this season and with a 1-2 start to the season, it is fair to wonder whether they will be selecting high in the 2021 NFL Draft next April.

In this seven-round 2021 NFL mock draft, we will work to improve the Jacksonville Jaguars going forward. The biggest question for this team is at the quarterback position, where they will have to determine whether Gardner Minshew should be their guy into the future. Minshew has certainly been better than his sixth-round status suggests, but does he have enough to take this team over the top?

Minshew has been solid through the first three games of the season, but his physical limitations are starting to show. He is never going to be a big-armed passer who is going to consistently push the ball down the field. He can make some plays with his legs and is an efficient passer in the short-to-intermediate range, but Minshew’s long-term upside does appear to be a bit limited.
