Current QBs: Dwayne Haskins, Kyle Allen, Alex Smith

In all honesty, Dwayne Haskins has performed much better this year than many people thought he would. Still, where Washington ends up drafting will play a big part in if he is the starting quarterback in 2021.

Should Washington struggle to the point of a top-three pick, then the consideration for either Lawrence or Fields will be there. This isn’t to say they will for sure take either one, but it would at least be talked out at length. If they are picking in the top three, then odds are the season didn’t go well for Haskins.

While Haskins has done better this year than anticipated, throwing two touchdowns and no interceptions thus far, he is still one of the bottom feeders at the position. Currently, he has the worst QBR in the league among starting quarterbacks at 28.4, having completed just 56.3% of his passes, the lowest mark of all quarterbacks who have played in two games.

Haskins has an uphill battle to keep his job and his start has been middle of the road. He’ll need to impress if he wants to ensure that he’s still under center in 2021, otherwise the Washington Football Team could once again be taking a quarterback in the first round.
