This Saturday, we will finally get to see SEC football. This means that the most talented conference in college football will be on the field this weekend and we will be able to get a first-hand look at many top-tier 2021 NFL Draft prospects for the first time in a while. It has been a long road, but we are almost there.
All 14 SEC teams will be in action on Saturday in matchups against each other and this will present many opportunities for us to see talented 2021 NFL Draft prospects against high-level competition. We have continued to speculate about these players for months, but we will finally be able to see them in action soon.
The Week 1 SEC slate is as followed (all games are on Saturday, September 26):
No. 23 Kentucky at No. 8 Auburn, 12:00 p.m. ET
No. 5 Florida at Ole Miss, 12:00 p.m. ET
Mississippi State at No. 6 LSU, 3:30 p.m. ET
No. 4 Georgia at Arkansas, 4:00 p.m. ET
No. 2 Alabama at Missouri, 7:00 p.m. ET
Vanderbilt at No. 10 Texas A&M, 7:30 p.m. ET
No. 16 Tennessee at South Carolina, 7:30 p.m. ET
As you can see we have a full and exciting slate of SEC throughout the day on Saturday, with a few particularly interesting matchups. Kentucky taking on Auburn stands out as the marquee game, but it is obviously going to be great to see powerhouses like Alabama, LSU, Florida and Georgia back out on the field.
It is great to see college football back almost at full force, but more than anything, I am excited to see these 2021 NFL Draft prospects back in action. We will have prospects returning from injuries, with expanded roles and in new places. Make no mistake about it, there is plenty to watch this weekend.
