New York Jets 2021 mock draft: Time to re-set at QB?
6. Justyn Ross, WR, Clemson
How about this idea?
There’s no guarantee that Justyn Ross is going to be able to play football again, but he’s certainly going to try. If he does, my guess is it will be at the NFL level, though he could try to go back to Clemson nest season and rehab his stock a bit.
Ross’ scary injury will hopefully not prevent him from playing football, because he’s absolutely awesome to watch.
One of the top wide receivers in all of college football the past couple of seasons, Ross had become one of Trevor Lawrence’s best and most trusted weapons, and he made some absolutely silly catches look easy.
If he does get medically cleared, he might go higher than the fourth round of the draft but wouldn’t it be something to see him reunited in the NFL with his college QB Lawrence?
Add in the potentiall of Ross along with Denzel Mims and Tutu Atwell as the future at receiver for this Jets team, and you might have something cooking there.
