2021 NFL Draft Round 1, Pick 20 (Cleveland Browns, 10-6)

Offensive Guard. Ohio State. Wyatt Davis. 20. Scouting Report. player. 53. Pick Analysis

The Cleveland Browns rebuild has been over 20 years in the making and it could all come together this season, possibly cracking the playoffs for the first time since 2002 like I have them projected. There are a lot of questions this year after the Brown fell short of expectations, but should Cleveland end up with this pick after a first-round exit in the playoffs, they could be led to a huge gain.

Cleveland’s offensive line has been a talking point the last few seasons, really since Joe Thomas retired, and they have one more spot to fill to have the line solidified for years to come, as I stated in their draft needs, and that’s right guard.

Wyatt Davis is just down the road at Ohio State and is being regarded as one of the best interior offensive lineman in the country. Davis is currently looking to become a two-time First-Team All-American at Ohio State and is a proven blocker in both the run and passing game.

Davis has the experience of blocking for a stellar run game that was paced by J.K. Dobbins last season, so for the Browns who want to be a run-first team, he fits into the scheme well and would be the final piece on their offensive line.
