2021 NFL Draft Round 1, Pick 13 (Atlanta Falcons, 6-10)

Linebacker. Alabama. Dylan Moses. 44. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 13. player

This season the Atlanta Falcons will be an interesting team to follow. With their roster, the season could really end with any record. However, due to the difficulty of their division and the struggles I foresee for their run game, they end up here.

One weakness that will be revealed on the defensive side of the ball will be their linebacker corps. Deion Jones will be able to secure one position, but the other will be up in the air and will need to be addressed when the season comes to a close.

Beyond Micah Parsons, Dylan Moses is the next best linebacker in the class and should expect to be a top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Moses most likely would have been in the 2020 NFL Draft, but an injury ended his 2019 season and will push his draft year to 2021. However, his 2018 season was electric.

For starters, he logged 86 tackles for the Tide, but he was also able to apply pressure with 10 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. He’s an athletic linebacker that plays a bit more like a safety, which fits the mold of the Falcons’ defense well, offering versatility across the field.

A new running back could also be in play for Atlanta here, depending on how Todd Gurley performs.
