2021 NFL Draft Round 2, Pick 19

53. Pick Analysis. LB. player. Scouting Report. Michigan. Cameron McGrone. 51

Linebacker continues to stand out as a major position of need for the Cleveland Browns. Luckily for them, the 2021 NFL Draft appears to be loaded with impact linebackers and they are able to snag one of them here with their second-round selection.

Cameron McGrone is an unproven talent, but it is easy to see his upside when watching him on the field for Michigan last season. He is an extremely athletic linebacker who impacts the game in a variety of ways. He is a tremendous sideline-to-sideline defender against the run and shows plenty of ability when asked to blitz. He is a bit raw in coverage, but the skill-set is certainly there for him to have a ton of success in that department as well.

2021 NFL Draft Round 2, Pick 20

EDGE. Washington. Joe Tryon. player. Pick Analysis. 52. 35. Scouting Report

Joe Tryon is not the most physical player on the edge, but his raw speed and athleticism at the position are extremely interesting. Tryon explodes off of the ball and bends around the edge with ease. He is also a high motor player who can run down plays that he seemingly has no business making. The Titans could certainly use some impact depth on the edge, and while his role may be a bit limited early in his career, Tryon would certainly help them in an area of need.

2021 NFL Draft Round 2, Pick 21

Oregon. Jevon Holland. 53. 52. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. S. player

This pick comes to Jacksonville as the primary piece of the Yannick Ngakoue trade with the Minnesota Vikings. The Jags have done a nice job of finding interesting young defensive pieces the last couple of seasons and with this extra pick, they do it again.

Jevon Holland is a versatile defensive back who shows plenty of upside at both safety and nickel cornerback. He is a smart and physical player who diagnoses plays well and shows solid ability against the run. Holland is also a strong man coverage player who can come in and hold his own against a variety of player types at the next level. The Jags find another exciting player as they continue their obvious rebuild.
