Tim Patrick, Denver Broncos

Tim Patrick is an interesting idea for the Jets as another player with a great catch radius for Sam Darnold to potentially throw the ball to.

The Broncos have a star receiver in Courtland Sutton with their top two draft picks this year being Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler.

Patrick has spent the entirety of training camp running with the Broncos’ starting offense, so they aren’t just going to give him away, but Patrick has a cheap one-year contract and with so many other guys behind him in Denver, they might be willing to deal him if the price is right.

The Jets could throw draft compensation at Denver, or perhaps some defensive backfield depth.

The big question here would be whether or not Adam Gase and John Elway could put aside their differences and work together.
