2021 NFL Draft: 2-round mock draft using ESPN’s order prediction
Joe Burrow getting his big playmaker at wide receiver in the 2021 NFL Draft would be a fun storyline, and it would make sense for the Bengals, who may be forced to move on from AJ Green after this season.
There are other directions the Bengals could go with this pick like Micah Parsons or Patrick Surtain II, but the idea of pairing Chase with his college QB Burrow is enticing and the Bengals would maintain a really strong young quartet of receivers with this kind of move.
Offensive line could be a huge priority for Cincinnati in the 2021 offseason, and if Alex Leatherwood is on the board in round two as he was in this scenario, he would be an excellent value.
Leatherwood plays left tackle for the Crimson Tide, but he has guard/tackle versatility projecting to the next level and some think he can also play center if need be. He’s a plug-and-play starter at whatever position the Bengals would need.
