If you go just by what you’re hearing from training camp, the Denver Broncos are going to be set on the outside at cornerback with AJ Bouye and Bryce Callahan both looking excellent so far.
But the Broncos are one injury away from uncertainty, and two weeks into camp, there’s no clarity at the no. 3 cornerback position.
The team has a variety of former day two picks on the roster with Duke Dawson, Isaac Yiadom, and 2020 third-rounder Michael Ojemudia vying for spots. They also have De’Vante Bausby and Davontae Harris who started games last year.
So far, no one has emerged in the eyes of the coaching staff enough to the point that they have seized that spot.
If the Broncos have any injury issues at cornerback in 2020 whatsoever, cornerback could get vaulted to the front of the line in terms of ‘need’ during the 2021 NFL Draft.
