26. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 30. player. EDGE. Wake Forest. Carlos Basham

It’s just like the Baltimore Ravens to get a tremendous value wherever they pick in whatever round they are picking in, isn’t it?

Basham came in at number two on the annual Feldman’s Freaks list, and there is no question his athleticism and strength have translated to production off the edge for Wake Forest.

Basham fits the mold of the type of edge defender the Ravens seem to prefer — guys with some size and bulk who are borderline prototype 4-3 defensive ends with little experience dropping into coverage.

The Ravens’ usage of multiple fronts allows them to develop these guys and they have developed so many tremendous edge defenders through the years.

Basham would fill a pretty significant need for the Ravens off the edge.
