The San Francisco 49ers could look to a variety of positions with this selection after using two first-round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft on Javon Kinlaw and Brandon Aiyuk, but the interior offensive line could be an area the team prioritizes.

Trey Smith was a big-time recruit who has to prove his health will not be an issue going forward, but on the field, he’s proven plenty.

As a matter of fact, Smith might be the best run blocker in this draft class, and we know how much the 49ers like to establish a strong ground game to set up their passing game with Kyle Shanahan calling the shots.

Smith’s raw power has made him almost impossible to beat in one-on-one situations when it comes to run blocking, and he is no slouch as a pass protector either.

A first-team All-SEC selection in 2019 and preseason All-American in 2020, Smith has a chance to really improve his draft stock in 2020 and go even higher than this.
