25. Scouting Report. WR. Rondale Moore. 30. Pick Analysis. Purdue. player

With one of the selections acquired from the Seattle Seahawks in the Jamal Adams trade, the New York Jets upgrade their receiver room with a player who only has one year of big-time production, but it was absolutely stellar.

Rondale Moore had people talking Heisman after a freshman season at Purdue in which he racked up 1,471 yards from scrimmage, 14 total touchdowns, and over 700 return yards.

Moore is small in stature, but he is tremendous in the open field and has incredible open-field speed, quickness, and instincts with the ball in his hands.

An injury limited him to just four games last season, but even as the primary playmaker on Purdue’s offense, he has averaged a touchdown every 10 touches.

The Jets are obviously hopeful that Denzel Mims can seize a WR1 or WR2 role in his rookie season, and hopefully, Le’Veon Bell emerges as a threat as a runner and receiver again, but even if both of those things happen this team needs to upgrade its offensive weaponry.
