CB. Ohio State. Shaun Wade. 22. player. 16. Pick Analysis. Scouting Report

Although Shaun Wade hasn’t (and likely won’t) gotten the chance to prove himself as a full-time outside cornerback, he has the toughness and aggressiveness the Buffalo Bills covet in defensive backs.

Wade is a tremendous nickel cornerback prospect who is more than willing to come up and play the run, but he’s also a tremendous cover player from the slot/safety looks he was given at Ohio State.

That versatility should endear him to a coach like Sean McDermott at the next level, and he would join a talented Bills secondary where he would be allowed to play to his strengths.

Even if the Bills wanted to develop him as an outside player, that would also be a possibility over the long term. Plus, at pick 22 overall, it can’t help but feel like Wade is an absolute steal.

This guy can blitz, too.
