QB. Clemson. Trevor Lawrence. 1. player. Scouting Report. 52. Pick Analysis

Every mock draft out there (for the most part) opens up with the Jacksonville Jaguars picking first overall. While that is certainly within the realm of possibility, I am personally not quite ready to declare the Jags the worst team in the NFL.

If they are picking first overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, there’s no doubt about the direction they will need to go.

Trevor Lawrence has been a coveted NFL prospect since he was in high school, and is quite possibly the best quarterback prospect to come along since Andrew Luck in 2012.

Through two seasons at Clemson, Lawrence has 66 touchdown passes, 10 rushing touchdowns, and has completed over 65 percent of his throws.

He’s the real deal.

Whatever NFL team gets Lawrence is going to get a guy who is physically and mentally capable of starting from day one, and not only that, he will excel early on at the NFL level. The moment is not too big for Lawrence, who is a leader among his peers and a playmaker with accuracy to every level of the field and a great understanding of exploiting defenses.
