WR. Alabama. player. Pick Analysis. Jaylen Waddle. 9. 59. Scouting Report

Coming back with a selection from the Houston Texans, who are wildly underrated by Vegas (the Vegas 2021 NFL Draft odds are the current projected draft order), the Miami Dolphins get Tua Tagovailoa a familiar face to throw to in the pros.

I’m a huge fan of bringing teammates together in the NFL if it makes sense to do so, and adding Jaylen Waddle to the Dolphins’ offensive weaponry is certainly something that makes sense.

Waddle’s playmaking ability has been on full display through two college seasons despite being buried on the Alabama depth chart behind top 15 picks Henry Ruggs III and Jerry Jeudy and likely first-round pick De’Vonta Smith.

Waddle might have the highest upside of them all.

His return ability is insane, but he’s a tremendous all-around receiver as well with strong routes, strong hands, and big-time acceleration.

The Dolphins coming away from the 2021 NFL Draft with Jaylen Waddle and Micah Parsons would be a huge “W” but they have more picks to come.
