Sleeper – Antonio Gandy-Golden, Washington Football Team

Like Antonio Gibson, Antonio Gandy-Golden didn’t have a huge sample size from college, playing just two seasons at Liberty. With that being said, Gandy-Golden could be one of the best fourth-round picks of the 2020 NFL Draft and it might be solely based on opportunity.

In two seasons at Liberty, Gandy-Golden was impressive in each season. In his first year, he snagged 71 catches for 1,037 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. He then followed that up in 2019 with 79 catches for 1,396 yards and another 10 touchdowns. The stats speak for themselves that he can make a strong contribution.

The depth chart says he should very easily make that contribution. Beyond Terry McLaurin, the Washington receiving corps is rather lackluster. When Trey Quinn, who was a seventh-round pick just two years ago, is a top-three receiver on the team, there is an opportunity to make a leap.

At 6-foot-4, Gandy-Golden provides a huge target that should complement McLaurin’s speed well and provide a clear No. 2 receiver for Washington this upcoming season. Considering that the tight ends for Washington are just as lackluster as the wide receivers, Gandy-Golden could quickly become the top red-zone target for the team for the rare chance when they make an appearance inside the 20.
