Oklahoma Sooners

We cannot ignore Oklahoma in this conversation. Nobody is better at taking transfer quarterbacks and helping them shine than Lincoln Riley. The Sooners head coach is one of the brightest offensive minds in all of football and he would undoubtedly put Justin Fields in consistent situations to succeed.

Oklahoma appears ready to turn the keys over to the young and exciting Spencer Rattler, but Justin Fields is simply too good to ignore. If he wants to prepare for the NFL under the tutelage of Riley, I imagine that he would get his wish.

Miami Hurricanes

After spending the offseason building their offense around transfer quarterback D’Eriq King, Miami does not stand out as the most likely team to snag Justin Fields. However, it would certainly be an interesting landing spot for the young signal-caller.

New offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee is bringing a wide-open spread offense to Miami and Fields’ fantastic overall skill-set would fit his system well. Star tight end Brevin Jordan also stands out as an appealing target for Fields and head coach Manny Diaz seems to have this program headed in the right direction.

More than anything, I wanted to include an ACC team on this list to set up a potential matchup with Trevor Lawrence. Just imagine, Justin Fields leading the Miami Hurricanes into South Carolina on October 10th to take on Trevor Lawrence and the Clemson Tigers. Now that would be fun.
