2. Ihmir Smith-Marsette, wide receiver
One of the most electric all-around playmakers in college football that not many people know about, Ihmir Smith-Marsette is probably one of the most significantly affected Iowa players by not having a 2020 season.
Smith-Marsette is a weapon not only in the passing game but also in the return game and as a runner on jet sweeps, and he put that on full display in the Holiday Bowl, scoring a touchdown as a runner, receiver, and returner.
Even though Smith-Marsette has shown impressive traits on tape, he may have had a chance to boost his stock into the top 50 or even top 32 range with a strong 2020 campaign. If he puts together some outstanding workouts in the 2021 offseason circuit, maybe he still can.
