Five teams who could pull the trigger on Rondale Moore in round one of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The college football world isn’t the same with everything that’s going on. Players are opting out of the 2020 season and declaring for the 2021 NFL Draft while the conferences are looking for any way to play this fall.

One of the players to opt-out was Purdue wide receiver Rondale Moore. Moore was the third Big Ten star to sit out and prepare for the draft, behind Rashod Bateman and Micah Parsons.

Since he arrived in West Lafayette, Moore has been a stud. He caught 114 passes for 1,258 yards and 12 touchdowns while also rushing 21 times for 213 yards and two scores as a freshman. Big expectations arose for his sophomore season, but injury struck after just four games. As Moore became eligible for the NFL Draft this season, the excitement continued to build. Now that he’s focusing on the draft instead of playing, let the scouting begin.

Scouts and analysts will have to go back to the freshman film to evaluate him, and they will like what they see. Moore is extremely dynamic with the ball in his hands and is tough to bring down despite his 5-foot-9, 180-pound frame. As a route runner, Moore has dynamic quickness at the line of scrimmage to gain initial separation and can win on the outside. His body control and adjustment skills are very good as well.

It will be interesting to see how playing in four games the last two seasons affects Moore’s 2021 NFL Draft stock. But, as the league continues to look for dynamic playmakers, it’s easy to see how he could be selected in the first round.

Who could select Rondale Moore in the first round of the draft? Let’s look at five teams that could make it happen.
