Ohio – Jared Dorsa, Linebacker, Redshirt Senior

Another linebacker from the Mid-American Conference that could be an intriguing prospect is Jared Dorsa out of Ohio. A redshirt senior, Dorsa has played in 37 games for the Bobcats, starting 22 of them. Being a middle linebacker, that experience and ability to read offenses is something NFL teams will always be willing to look into.

Playing in 11 games while starting 10 of them at middle linebacker in 2019, Dorsa totaled 80 tackles on the season, the third most on the Ohio defense. Additionally, he was able to contribute six tackles for loss, which was also third on the team, and half a sack while tallying five quarterback hurries.

Over his career at Ohio, Dorsa has also put together a full stat line. As a sophomore in 2018, he intercepted two passes, which was tied for the team lead, as well as blocked a punt while also being third on the team in tackles for that season too.

If Dorsa can continue to improve his stats over his final season he could enter the conversation of being a late-round pick or undrafted signee sleeper. His ability to do so many things, including contributing on special teams, should be enough to be given a chance.
