Louisville – Tutu Atwell, Wide Receiver, Junior

The Louisville offense has once again reloaded with playmakers, similar to the style of team they had when Lamar Jackson was under center. Of those playmakers, few will be draft-eligible for the 2021 NFL Draft and even the ones that are could return for their senior campaigns. Tutu Atwell is one of those players that will have the choice, but with a deep class, he might opt to return.

Regardless, Atwell is one of the Louisville players to keep an eye on in the upcoming season in the event that he would decide to declare for the 2021 NFL Draft. Listed at just 5’9”, 165 he has a small frame that could be a concern. However, his style of play complements his size well and makes him an intriguing prospect.

This past season was a big step for Atwell when he led the ACC in receiving yards with 1,276 as well as receiving touchdowns with 12, both of which either broke or tied school records. The impressive season was enough for him to earn first-team All-ACC as well as being named an All-American by Pro Football Focus.

Should his junior season resemble that, the choice for Atwell regarding his senior season should be an easy one. Having records to your name on top of all-conference honors is more than enough to draw the attention of NFL scouts.
