USC – Amon-Ra St. Brown, Wide Receiver, Junior

A successful wide receiver and punt returner at USC, Amon-Ra St. Brown could very well follow in the footsteps of JuJu Smith-Schuster and Michael Pittman Jr. from the Trojans into the NFL. The brother of Green Bay Packer wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown, the NFL pedigree is definitely there.

A year ago, St. Brown was named an All-PAC-12 second team member by Phil Steele while being a conference All-PAC-12 honorable mention. Over 13 games, St. Brown reeled in 77 receptions for 1,042 yards and six touchdowns, all second on the team behind Pittman. With Pittman now with the Indianapolis Colts, St. Brown could see more targets and opportunities during the 2020 season.

St. Brown also served as the Trojans primary punt returner, having 12 returns on the year, averaging 5.5 yards per return. Being a strong wide receiver option as well as a potential special teams threat, St. Brown should see a lot of NFL attention entering the 2021 NFL Draft.

His skill set resembles that of Donovan Peoples-Jones out of Michigan this past season who was selected by the Cleveland Browns after a slide down to the sixth round. Peoples-Jones is expected to have an impact in Cleveland and the better he plays, the higher St. Brown’s stock will rise as a comparison.
