8. Las Vegas Raiders: Marvin Wilson, DL, Florida State

I want so badly to put a quarterback here for the Raiders. How much longer are they going to be at it with Derek Carr as their quarterback?

If they’re picking in the top 10 of next year’s draft, I am not sure the Raiders can afford to go with another young option at the position, although Jon Gruden is certainly capable of falling in love with the young guys in this class. Perhaps he and Mike Mayock will pay the price for someone like Justin Fields or Trey Lance.

If they don’t have a shot at any of the top three guys as in this scenario, Marvin Wilson is not a bad secondary option.

Wilson is a playmaker on the defensive interior with size, length, quickness, strong hands, and pass rush ability.

The Raiders have quietly been doing a nice job of building their roster as they move to Las Vegas, and adding a presence on the defensive interior like Wilson would be great for the rest of the players they have in the fold.
