23. Pittsburgh Steelers: Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama

Some key free agents and players at other positions could force the Steelers into another position atop their 2020 NFL Draft class, but the value of Patrick Surtain II was too much to pass on at this point in the mock draft.

Surtain has the size, aggressiveness, and refined technique to be a big impact in his first year in the league.

He has really shown himself to be a big-time playmaker in two seasons for the Crimson Tide, breaking up 15 passes, picking off three, and forcing three fumbles in 2019 alone.

Pittsburgh is going to have a variety of questions to answer next offseason, not the least of which is whether or not Ben Roethlisberger will be back, which seems to be an annual deal at this point.

JuJu Smith-Schuster is a big free agent along with running back James Conner in very uncertain economic times for the NFL.

This Pittsburgh roster may be top 10 for the 2020 season but for how much longer?
