11. Jacksonville Jaguars (from Rams): Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson

The Jacksonville Jaguars seem to be getting ready to move on from Leonard Fournette, if not at some point in the 2020 season then certainly after.

Although Fournette has been tremendous at times, he and the Jaguars haven’t been the right fit for each other so it’s close to time to move on.

It’s certainly not always the preferred method to go for a running back in the first round of the NFL Draft, but the Jaguars are looking at a situation here with Trevor Lawrence coming in and an offensive unit that will have very little without Fournette in terms of running game talent.

Travis Etienne would be joining his Clemson teammate in this scenario, always a fun way to operate in the NFL Draft, and he certainly brings a lot to the table to be worthy of this selection.

Etienne has home run ability but he is also a patient runner and much more physical than he’s given credit.

He surprisingly decided to go back to Clemson for another season despite having some first-round potential in the 2020 NFL Draft.
