827. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 3. player. S. Syracuse. Andre Cisco

After the Jacksonville Jaguars loaded up with offense with their first three picks of this mock draft, they make an addition on the defensive side of the ball here in the third round. Led by incoming rookie cornerback C.J. Henderson and third-year safety Ronnie Harrison, the Jags have some nice young talent in the secondary. However, there is still plenty of work left to do. Here, they bring in Syracuse safety Andre Cisco to help take the unit to the next level.

Cisco stands out as an exciting playmaker on the back-end who has an impressive nose for the football. He has led the ACC in interceptions in each of the last two seasons, piling up seven picks for Syracuse as a freshman in 2018 and five as a sophomore last season.

Cisco shows a great combination of size and athleticism on the back-end. He shows impressive natural range as a deep safety and also has strong instincts for the position. Cisco always seems to find his way to the ball in coverage and can come up and make some plays against the run as well.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are doing a nice job of building up their defense and Cisco is just another talented player to add to the mix. Having him making plays on the back-end could immediately take this entire unit to the next level. He would undoubtedly be a strong addition for the team in this range of the 2021 NFL Draft.
