TE. Kyle Pitts. player. 840. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Florida. 1

The Jacksonville Jaguars have an extra first-round selection in the 2021 NFL Draft from the Jalen Ramsey trade with the Los Angeles Rams. In this mock draft, that Rams pick comes in at No. 17 overall and gives the Jags an opportunity to land a dynamic weapon at the tight end position, Kyle Pitts out of Florida.

Pitts is a big and athletic tight end prospect who shows impressive natural route-running skills. He is smooth in and out of his routes and has a knack for finding space against zone coverage. Pitts is a legitimate field-stretcher in the middle of the field and also shows an incredibly wide catch radius.

The Jaguars have a few decent weapons in the passing attack, but they do not have anything like Pitts in this offense. He is a tremendous natural playmaker in the passing game who would undoubtedly be a huge weapon for Lawrence as a rookie.

After putting all of their eggs in the Lawrence basket, the Jacksonville Jaguars should be doing whatever they can to help him reach his potential with the team. The opportunity to snag Pitts here at No. 17 feels like a nice value selection at an important position of need for the team.
