Whether it was Jalen Reagor or someone else, I think they would have gone with speed at wide receiver at this pick one way or another.
In this scenario, they get Alabama’s Henry Ruggs III, who was coming off of a tremendous sophomore campaign at Alabama with 11 touchdowns.
Ruggs wound up being the WR1 in the 2020 NFL Draft class which was surprising to some, but with the way Tyreek Hill changes games for the Kansas City Chiefs, it’s hard not to be intrigued by the potential of Ruggs to impact games at the next level.
