Clemson. 13. S/LB. Isaiah Simmons. player. 48. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Actual pick: Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa

Without the 2019 college season, the offensive tackle position gets a little depleted from what it actually ended up being in the 2020 NFL Draft, but the Buccaneers wind up in a pretty good spot here with Isaiah Simmons.

Even though the Bucs needed the pick of Tristan Wirfs to round out their offensive line, the idea of getting Simmons in Todd Bowles’ defense would undoubtedly appeal to them and could have been a lot of fun to see.

Simmons flashed his first-round ability all throughout his career at Clemson, and solidified his top 10 status with his Combine performance, but would he have been a top 10 pick without the 2019 season?

Maybe.

Instead of getting Antoine Winfield Jr. in round two, the Bucs get Isaiah Simmons to add to their talented defense in the first round of this re-draft.
