Ohio State. Wyatt Davis. 16. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. IOL. 42

This season simulation did not go well for the San Francisco 49ers. After making a Super Bowl appearance last season, this Madden version of the 49ers limped to an 8-8 record and missed the playoffs. While I do not necessarily see this happening, this scenario does set the 49ers up for success in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The 49ers have put together an incredible overall roster and do not have many holes on either side of the ball. Interior offensive line stands out as one of those positions of need and Wyatt Davis is the best player at the position in the 2021 NFL Draft class.

Davis is a big and powerful offensive lineman who shows quick and powerful hands at all times. Once this guy gets his hands on the defender, it is typically game over as he physically manhandles him and drives him down the field.

Davis is an impressive power blocker, but his foot quickness and athleticism for an offensive lineman also stands out. He is a tremendous second-level blocker who shines when he is allowed to get out in space and work. Davis is a true scheme-versatile player who can dominate in any offensive system.

Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers need offensive linemen who can get out in space and make blocks at the second level. Davis undoubtedly has the skill-set needed to be a star in their offense and would quickly be one of the best offensive linemen on the team. Snagging Davis at No. 16 here feels like an ideal situation for the 49ers.
