2021 NFL Draft prospects to watch: Big 12 Conference

West Virginia – Darius Stills, Defensive Line, Senior
One of two Stills brothers in the middle of the West Virginia line, Darius Stills has proven to be a wrecking ball for the defense. Earning a 2019 First Team All-Big 12 recognition, Stills is looking to burst into the 2021 NFL Draft conversation.
A year ago, Stills only logged 47 tackles which was seventh on the team and a low number for this list, but it was the pressure he created that really draws the attention. He led the Mountaineers with 14.5 tackles for loss while tying his brother for the team lead in sacks with seven. He also led the team in quarterback hurries with five and blocked a kick on special teams.
If Stills can raise his tackle total and prove to be more than just a run-stuffer in the backfield, then his draft stock will rise. Even as it currently stands he could draw the attention that Danny Shelton did out of Washington or maybe Ross Blacklock out of TCU.
For now, Stills is still rather unknown, but with the stats he put up, as well as having NFL pedigree from his dad, Gary Stills, who played nine seasons in the NFL, he won’t stay unknown for long. Don’t be shocked if his name starts to get thrown around in draft talk soon, especially if his senior season is his best yet.
