Predicting the Las Vegas Raiders’ 2021 NFL Draft haul with a three-round mock draft.

Jon Gruden, Mike Mayock and company have done a nice job of building the Las Vegas Raiders in recent years. They have torn down their roster and patiently built it back through the draft. Sure, they have made some significant free-agent additions, but they are doing a great job of building the core of their team through the draft.

While their roster is on the right track, it is difficult to see them actually competing with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West during the 2020 season. With that in mind, I think it’s fair to look forward and dream on what the Las Vegas Raiders can do next offseason. Obviously, the most interesting part of their offseason will be the 2021 NFL Draft.

As we continue to learn more about the upcoming draft class, it is always fun to look forward and predict what these teams can do. It is obviously incredibly difficult to predict what will actually happen in the 2021 NFL Draft this far out, but these early mock drafts can be a good way to get to know these prospects while also learning about potential upcoming needs for specific teams.

In this mock draft, we are going to go three rounds deep with Gruden and the Las Vegas Raiders. This team has starting to build a strong young core, but there is certainly plenty of work to do. Who should they be targeting in the 2021 NFL Draft to start to take their team to the next level? Let’s find out.
