8. Nick Foles, Chicago Bears

Whether or not Nick Foles will start for the Chicago Bears in 2020 is still up in the air, but if he does, I think he moves the needle the least for me in terms of quarterback acquisitions across the league.

Foles caught fire once upon a time in Philadelphia. Well, twice upon a time if you go back to the 2013 season as well.

I think he’s capable of playing really well for stretches, but his best advantage might be having little to no expectations put on him.

If the Bears open the season with Trubisky as the starter, I think that works into Foles’ advantage over the long haul.

The worse Trubisky plays, the more everyone is going to want to see if Foles can right the ship.

If he can run Matt Nagy’s offense to perfection, there’s a chance the Bears could catch lightning in a bottle here.
