6. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers

By the end of the 2020 season, Justin Herbert could make this prediction look pretty foolish.

He showed a lot of improvement this past season at Oregon, though there were still some frustrating bouts with inconsistency and poor decision making.

At this point in time, there’s no certainty he will be starting over Tyrod Taylor, but that seems like it will happen sooner than later.

Herbert is a tremendous athlete with a huge arm, but he will need to prove he can limit mistakes for the Chargers.

With that said, it wouldn’t be shocking at all to see Herbert and the Chargers do what Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills did and make the playoffs in short order despite the young QB’s weaknesses.

Herbert can run designed QB run plays as well as make big throws all over the field. If he can get it all to click in year one, he’s going to be fun to watch.
