2. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

One of the comparisons I heard for Joe Burrow in the pre-draft process was Tom Brady, and the more I thought about it, the more that made sense.

Burrow is more athletic than Brady, but it was his ability to maneuver in the pocket and not only avoid pressure but make throws under pressure that set him apart from the other quarterbacks in this class.

That, and his health.

Burrow’s skill set is such that I think he can have one of the most substantial impacts of any recent number one overall pick, possibly as significant as Andrew Luck’s impact on the Indianapolis Colts in 2012.

The Bengals have some intriguing weapons offensively, and even without a fully rebuilt offensive line, I think Burrow is going to be tremendous in year one with Cincinnati.

They may not be going from worst to first, but Burrow can have the Bengals in a place to compete as the season goes along.
