Bust Wide Receiver – CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys

In the looks of an overall career, this is a bad take, but for the upcoming fantasy football season, it might be spot on. CeeDee Lamb will have a strong, solid career in Dallas, but it might take a bit to formulate. Given where he is being selected in mock drafts, he could earn bust status for the season, which could also make dynasty and keeper league owners panic for the price they paid.

Currently, Lamb will have to share the field with Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup. Cooper is well known across the league, but many forget the numbers that Gallup put up last season and that chemistry with Dak Prescott won’t just go away. That isn’t to say Lamb won’t have opportunities, but he’ll have to make the most of them to return his value.

What could help Lamb avoid bust status is the lack of red-zone weapons. Blake Jarwin could step up, but we thought that when Jason Witten left the first time. Being 6’2″, Lamb could very well become the red-zone target of choice for Dallas which would save his value.

However, being a touchdown-dependent third option isn’t exactly what people have in mind when they are drafting him.
