3. Bryan Edwards, WR, South Carolina

Every year, every NFL Draft fan has a list of their ‘guys’ in each respective class.

Bryan Edwards was on my list of ‘guys’ for the 2020 NFL Draft.

The all-time leading receiver in South Carolina history is taking his talents to Las Vegas, where he has a legitimate chance to push Tyrell Williams off the roster by 2021 as the team’s top X receiver.

Everyone rightly wants to talk about the selection of Ruggs and how he can potentially be the next Tyreek Hill, but Edwards has a ton of talent in his own right.

An injury kept him out of the pre-draft process as far as workouts go, but had he been healthy he might have had a good chance of having a workout similar to the one we saw from Denzel Mims of Baylor.

Mims wound up going in the second round to the Jets after running a sub-4.4 in the 40-yard dash, but Edwards — at least to me — is the better all-around prospect.

He should be the Raiders’ WR2 with Ruggs for the foreseeable future.
