Even with one of the most complete rosters in the NFL and almost every starter from a Super Bowl-winning team returning for another shot at it in 2020, the Kansas City Chiefs have one of the worst groups of cornerbacks in the NFL.

They have the offense to compensate for it, and some of this group overachieved down the stretch to actually help the team significantly in the postseason, but the Chiefs need to add some players who can make a difference on the back end.

Luckily for them, the 2021 NFL Draft could wind up being really good at the cornerback position with a bunch of really talented guys poised for breakout seasons.

Eric Stokes has played 22 games the past two seasons for Georgia, breaking up 18 passes. He has yet to pick off a pass, but he’s showed off his coverage skills and has managed to make second-team All-SEC last year as a sophomore despite not having an interception.
