2021 NFL Draft: Justin Fields tops Trevor Lawrence in QB-rich mock draft
11. Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson
After bringing in Todd Gurley in the 2020 offseason, drafting a running back in the first round may not be at the forefront of every Falcons fan’s mind, but Travis Etienne is the rare type of back you make the first-round exception for.
Etienne has been one of the biggest playmakers in college football over the past three seasons.
He’s averaging 7.8 yards per carry in three seasons at Clemson with 56 rushing touchdowns and another six receiving touchdowns.
Etienne has even shown he can return kickoffs in his time with Clemson. He averages over eight yards per offensive play and has a touchdown rate (per touch) of 12 percent.
