Running Backs: (5, 10/53)

  1. Todd Gurley II
  2. Ito Smith
  3. Brian Hill
  4. Qadree Ollison
  5. Keith Smith (FB)

The running backs room changed at the top from a year ago but the rest remains in tack. Devonta Freeman was the featured back in Atlanta before a rash of injuries lead to the team releasing him from his contract with three years left.

Then the Atlanta Falcons signed Todd Gurley who like Freeman has had injury concerns over the past couple of seasons. Gurley was brought in on a one-year deal worth $6 million and hopes to rejuvenate his career before his knee injuries sidelined him.

The Falcons have a lot of depth behind Gurley with Ito Smith, Brian Hill, and Qadree Ollison who are all younger backs who played significant time a year ago when Freeman was inactive. I expect to see a lot of these guys get time during the season and for Ollison to have a break out season this year.

Atlanta’s fullback Keith Smith has been a good blocker for the team in 2019 and he will remain the starting fullback going into the 2020 season and beyond.
