How can the New York Giants improve through the 2021 NFL Draft? Find out in this three-round mock draft.

The New York Giants limped through an ugly 4-12 season in 2019 but they worked hard to improve their situation over the offseason. It all started with the hiring of Joe Judge as their new head coach. Judge joins the Giants after spending the last five seasons as the special teams coordinator for the New England Patriots. Judge is a well-respected coach who could be the guy to turn the Giants’ fortunes around.

Perhaps even more importantly, the Giants were able to find many talented players in the 2020 NFL Draft. In first-round offensive tackle Andrew Thomas, the Giants may have found a strong and stable left tackle to lead their offensive line for many years. In second-round safety Xavier McKinney, New York found a tremendous playmaker in the safety who will be an important part of their defense.

The additions of Thomas and McKinney stand above the rest, but they were also able to find quality depth players on the offensive line, at linebacker and at cornerback later in the draft. Simply put, the Giants nailed their 2020 NFL Draft haul.

The New York Giants are extremely unlikely to be competitive in 2020, but they have done a nice job of putting together an interesting young roster. Going forward, they must find a way to build around quarterback Daniel Jones, running back Saquon Barkley and the other talented young players on the roster. The Giants will likely have a great opportunity to add legitimate impact talent in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Here, we are going to look at the players who they could potentially add in the 2021 NFL Draft next April. Sit back, relax and check out this three-round mock draft for the New York Giants.
