Wide receiver (6, 14/53)

  • 1. D.J. Chark
  • 2. Chris Conley
  • 3. Dede Westbrook
  • 4. Laviska Shenault
  • 5. Keelan Cole
  • 6. Collin Johnson

The wide receiver position for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2020 should look pretty similar to what we saw last season but with the addition of a couple of intriguing rookies.

D.J. Chark will be looking to prove he can continue to handle WR1 responsibilities after a breakout year in 2019 while Chris Conley and Dede Westbrook will continue to see significant targets as well.

The fresh faces to the wide receiver room include former the former Colorado Buffalo Swiss army knife, Laviska Shenault, and Texas Longhorn standout, Collin Johnson. The Jags nabbed Shenault in the 2nd round of the 2020 NFL Draft and his versatile skill set should allow him to see plenty of action in year one. Johnson, while not a guarantee to make the 53, gives the Jaguars a big red-zone target that they don’t currently have. I like his chances.

Keelan Cole was brought back on a one-year deal this offseason and should stick around after the roster is decided. He adds a bit of veteran leadership to a very young group of pass-catchers.
