Tight End (3, 18/53)

  • 1. Maxx Williams
  • 2. Darrell Daniels
  • 3. Dan Arnold

Maxx Williams, a former second-round pick out of Minnesota, earned himself a second contract with the Arizona Cardinals this offseason, and hopefully, he continues the positive trajectory he’s been on the past couple of seasons.

Williams only caught 15 passes last season, but his average per catch was up substantially from his days in Baltimore (13.5) and most importantly, he played in all 16 games with a career-high 10 starts.

Dan Arnold comes over in free agency along with Darrell Daniels, who played 11 games for the Cardinals last season.

This is one of the weakest position groups on the team, but Arizona is going to utilize their receivers a lot more in the passing game than the tight ends.

Still, if a player like Williams can become more like what he was in college, the Cardinals’ passing game would be all the more dangerous.
