Arizona Cardinals 53-man roster prediction after 2020 offseason success.

The Arizona Cardinals may have improved more than any other team in the 2020 offseason.

Along with the expected progression in year two for former first-overall pick Kyler Murray, the Cardinals brought in maybe the best wide receiver in the NFL right now, DeAndre Hopkins, using just a second-round pick and running back David Johnson to get the deal done.

Aside from that, the Cardinals brought in perhaps the best defensive player in the 2020 NFL Draft — with all due respect to Chase Young — in Clemson’s linebacker/safety Isaiah Simmons.

If those were the only two moves the Cardinals had made in the 2020 offseason, it would have probably been enough to vault them up into having one of the more impressive overall rosters in the league, but they brought in even more help to get them in contention for the NFC West in 2020.

Cardinals key 2020 offseason acquisitions

  • Re-signed RB Kenyan Drake
  • Traded for WR DeAndre Hopkins
  • Drafted Clemson LB Isaiah Simmons
  • Signed DL Jordan Phillips
  • Re-signed OT DJ Humphries
  • Drafted Houston OT Josh Jones
  • Signed LB De’Vondre Campbell

The Cardinals kept some continuity and made some key moves to improve their roster and now look poised to take on the rest of the mighty NFC West, where every team looks like a potential playoff contender for the 2020 season.

Let’s do our best to try and predict the 53-man roster and depth chart for the Cardinals now that the 2020 offseason is basically complete.
