Kansas City Chiefs

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Derion Kendrick. CB. Clemson. 32. player. 124

The Kansas City Chiefs have a stacked roster leading up to the 2020 NFL season, but they also have some clear needs looking ahead to next offseason and the 2021 NFL Draft.

One area they need to get better? Cornerback.

Derion Kendrick is a very talented athlete who came to Clemson as a highly touted wide receiver prospect before moving to the defensive side of the ball in 2019.

The move was met with some nice success.

Kendrick wound up with 43 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, and five pass breakups. He also has the ability to return kicks and punts.
