player. RB. Alabama. Najee Harris. 31. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 42

The San Francisco 49ers don’t necessarily need a running back in the first round, but this selection would make their offense virtually unstoppable.

At least, on initial contact.

The 49ers drafted wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk with one of their two first-round selections in the 2020 NFL Draft, a pick that gave them a trio of the most impressive after-the-catch offensive weapons in the NFL.

Adding Najee Harris to the mix?

Yikes.

Harris is one of the most naturally gifted running backs at catching the football you will see. He looks like a wide receiver when he splits out and runs routes. Alabama successfully used him in a number of red zone situations split out in the 2019 season.

Harris is also the perfect style of one-cut runner for Kyle Shanahan’s offense.
