2021 NFL Draft: Latest mock draft with Patriots plummeting to worst record
Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts decided to bring in Philip Rivers in the 2020 offseason, so clearly this is a team that feels it is ready to compete for a title right away.
Rivers wasn’t able to make the Chargers a contender with arguably a better all-around supporting cast, but there are pieces in Indianapolis and they seem to be a better sum of their parts than what meets the eye when you read over their depth chart.
With that said, the Colts need some upgrades at cornerback, and Alabama’s Patrick Surtain II could be a nice value here with the 15th overall pick.
In his first two seasons with the Crimson Tide, Surtain has three interceptions, four forced fumbles, and 15 total pass breakups. He’s no stranger to making plays on the ball and might be one of the best cornerbacks to come out of Alabama in some time.
