Georgia. Andrew Thomas. 4. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. OT. 31. player

The New York Giants took offensive tackle Andrew Thomas with the fourth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Here, they get the fourth pick again and still take Thomas. Would the Giants have taken Jeffrey Okudah here if he were available? Perhaps. But they have already significantly invested in the secondary and adding to the offensive line makes the most sense. Thomas is a rock-solid offensive tackle prospect who continues to make sense for the G-Men.

Pick Analysis. CB. Ohio State. Scouting Report. Jeffrey Okudah. 5. player. 16

Pairing Jeffrey Okudah with Tre’Davious White on the outside? Yes, please. Okudah is clearly the best player remaining on the board and cornerback stands out as one of the few needs on the Buffalo Bills’ roster. Snagging him here is a no-brainer.

124. Scouting Report. player. 6. Pick Analysis. LB/S. Clemson. Isaiah Simmons

Well, this would just be ridiculously unfair. Isaiah Simmons is a tremendous defensive playmaker who can impact the game in a variety of ways. The defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs need more speed and athleticism at the linebacker position and adding Simmons would fill that need in a hurry.

Pick Analysis. IDL. Auburn. player. Scouting Report. Derrick Brown. 7. 15

The best players available do not really fit well with the positions of need for the New Orleans Saints here. They took interior offensive lineman Cesar Ruiz in the actual 2020 NFL Draft, but he would be a major reach at No. 7. Linebacker and wide receiver stand out as other needs, but simply taking the best player on the board may be the best plan of attack.

Derrick Brown is a big and powerful defender who absolutely dominates in the middle of the defensive line. He is also quick for a man of his size and would have been an immediate disruptor on the interior of the Saints’ defense.

44. Scouting Report. CB. Florida. player. 8. Pick Analysis. C.J. Henderson

The Atlanta Falcons ended up taking A.J. Terrell with the 16th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, but they were commonly considered a team that wanted to trade into the top 10. If the Falcons were able to trade into this range, cornerback C.J. Henderson would have made a lot of sense for this team. Henderson is a quick and athletic cornerback prospect who has fantastic ball skills on the outside. The addition of Terrell is solid, but Henderson would have been better.

OT. Alabama. 9. 58. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Jedrick Wills Jr.. player

Falling down to No. 9 and losing Chase Young is tough, but the Washington Redskins are able to land arguably the best offensive tackle prospect in this re-draft. Jedrick Wills Jr. is a dominant run blocker who also shows fantastic upside as a pass protector. He is a tough and athletic offensive lineman who would have been a tremendous addition to the Washington offense.

Scouting Report. OT. 10. 30. Pick Analysis. Louisville. Mekhi Becton. player

The New York Jets go on the clock one pick earlier in this re-draft and still end up with the same player. Mekhi Becton is a bit of a raw player, but he is an absolutely massive offensive tackle prospect who moves well in space. Becton could grow into an elite blindside protector for Sam Darnold and should still be the pick for New York here.
